Since you know nothing about me, let me introduce myself. I work for a company as a pilot who flys almost exclusively military contracts such as towing targets( yes, getting shot at), we do radar runs at night at less than 500 feet off the water at 300 knots. I currently fly a project that pisses off another country like you have no idea. I have skydived. I road race motorcycles on weekends I am not working. The bike(with mods) I currently ride will do over 190 mph.....and has, many times.
If you think I am boring....I can't wait to read about your life.
Oddly enough, I never considered jail exciting.

Somehow trying to hide it from OFAC would be giving them some power which would make me vomitous. Besides, if the penalty is a fine, its just a fee. Like parking or speeding.
You just pay fines?!?! What a waste! My favorite plea bargain was from Quebec. I sent them a letter saying I would challenge their reciprocal fine collection agreement with the US if I didn't get a jury trial. In the same letter I offered to pay the fine if they reduced the ticket from 131/80 to 99/80 km/h. They accepted my plea bargain.
A $7,000 OFAC fine can be plea bargained down to $1,000, $2,000 at the most.
