How mucho better, percent wise, is it to arrive in Cuba with Euros then American dollars? Going for the first time since they changed everything; what a hassle
It is far better to arrive with euros in cash. People report change rates between 1,26 and 1,28 CUC for a euro.
Those Euros killed me in Europe this past month! $1.52 on credit cards. No es facil.........
A friend of mine just returned from Austria......said prices were bad enough without the exchange....but including the exchange....it was murder.
Austria was the only Country that used the Euro. Prague was the Koruna and Budapest was the Florin. When those countries go on the Euro, it's hello poverty!
Its nice to see someone else get screwed on the exchange of their dollar instead of me : I can remember when I had to pay 1.50 to get 1.00 u.s. dollar now the shoe is on the other foot so dont complain ; look at it another way it should make trade a hell of a lot better and maybe provide more jobs :the canadians are flocking over the border in droves to buy cheap gasoline ; and dairy products ;

My father always tells me that's the Americans' gameplan. Same thing happned in the late 70's early 80's.
