I see this morning the u.s. homeland security wants all canadian airlines to provide 72 hours in adavance a manifest of passengers of every flight over the u.s. to the south and carribean including information on every passenger: we had for quite a while this api anyway given to the airlines ;two weeks ago when I booked on line I filled one out to skyservice
These cheap deals are just about at their end ;pretty well ended to varadero for a good hotel: the one to manzanillo is good and the airline will provide a box lunch too and be prepared for a long flight via by someplace else
Why wouldn't these airlines just fly a little out of route and keep the US out of their business?

You may wish to consult a map and you'll quickly realize that flying from Toronto or Montreal to Havana involves quite a bit more than flying "a little out of route".
When I used to fly by cubana to cuba years ago from t.o. using at first using tuplovs the route was to the east coast then down to cuba by the atlantic route ,hence time consuming and a lot more expensive fuel wise was a god send for the u.s. route ;
