I'm surprised more media hasn't pointed this out.
The Cuban chancellor at the UN finally admitted that Cuba does in fact violate human rights, contrary to their usual stance that they uphold them.
When Swedish chancellor criticized Cuba for their violations and not the US for Guantanamo, Cuban chancellor Palacios pointed out the hypocracy of Sweden's comments:
"Fernández Palacios consideró que el ministro actuaba con "hipocresía" al criticar a Cuba omitiendo cualquier referencia a la situación de la base estadounidense de Guantánamo"
So, I agree with Palacios on this one. Cuba does in fact violate human rights, along with the US according to evidence in Guantanamo. Thank you Sr. Palacios. Finally a little bit of honesty from your regime.
