It would just never occur to me to buy ANYTHING of value in Cuba.

As I said Mercy, I had to get some shoes, the shoes I brought with me were not good for walking and I walked for hours in the flat Italian sandals, I have a photo of them somewhere, they were/are cute. The Brazilian ones were abit uncomfortable, but different and not too expensive (for me) but were for Cubans. Maybe I will take them back and give to my goddaughter, she would love them.
