Anyone here in South Florida going to the Key West air show? The Blue Angels arrived yesterday.

Our aircraft will be in the static display and I will be hosting it. Stop by and I will take you for a tour and buy ya a coke.

A friend just called this morning, is flying his Twin Piper in and invited me along. Bad time for me as the next couple of weeks are pretty action-packed. Otherwise would have been great to see you! Have a good one!
I would be there if I could AK. It would be a gas to see the show, and to meet you. Take lots of pics, and post some of them here. It would be a nice change from the infantile abuse you are subjected to here daily. Someday your "fans" may grow up and argue a point without insults and innuendo, but I won't hold my breath.

Alas, I must be content to spend a week with my daughter in Huatulco, Mexico. We leave next Thursday. Calgary, and southern Alberta, had a freak snow/wind storm last night. It only left 1-2 inches of snow, but the wind was formidable. The power went out here for about an hour, but all is well today, although a little cool. It is nice and sunny now with a high of +4C forecast. It is +34C in Huatulco today. Smile

PS - Don't I have the most kick do sig you have ever seen? Icon_mrgreen

Have your friend stop by and introduce himself. I will give him the grand tour...unless he is a spy of course....

the locals sell fresh caught ones right on the beach in Huatulco.

They have a few different spieces of clams & oysters there. Those bays are very clean and the shellfish is safe.
I hear Huatulco has some of the nicest beaches in Mexico.

I LOVE oysters. I'll have to see what the locals have to offer. I have no problem with oysters on the half shell. Smile

I have heard the same thing. I'll let you know how they are after we return. I have seen NICE beaches before (Saona Island DR for example), so we will see.

This morning I bought a new digital camera. After much reviewing, I bought a Panasonic TS-2 14 mega-pixel digital. I dropped in one of my 16 Gb SD cards, so I should have no problem taking lots of pics. The camera is good for 33 feet underwater, and supposedly survives a 2 meter drop test, so I'll give her a go during my snorkeling. My old stand by is a Canon 5 mega pixel digital. She still works great, but I needed an underwater camera. I am going to snorkel my do off on this trip.

Great pics AK. Where are the crowds, or did you take the photos before the gates were opened? Looking forward to some more shots.
