Please help me - i need to complet my cuban itinerary soon, and need to know, which places are ideal for snorkeling there. I have heard about these:
- Playa Giron - is it really good? I havent found any videos to check it
- Jibacoa - I have heard that it is excellent, but bad point is that in March the sea temperature isnt very good in that north part of Cuba. Is it worth to go there?
- Guardalavaca - I have heard that the snorkeling there is super, but also that there isnt much fish, just nice corals. Is it worth to go so far?

I would think that they only offer snorkeling trips where the snorkeling is good. Why would they offer it where the water is murky? My friend told me that Nuevitas was decent. He also never went snorkeling before, so may not be the person to get information from.

Isla de la Juventud is one of the three best places in Cuba to SCUBA dive, but SNORKELLING is not particularly good at any of the seven beaches I visited. I found the beach at Hotel Colony particularly bad--sand bottom with many sea urchins.

The best snorkel spots in Cuba feature calm waters, shallow coral reefs and plenty to see under the surface. Snorkeling is probably the most important activity for holiday enjoyment.

Try the road west of Santiago - ship wrecks and all !!!

I have also been wondering if I could get an itinerary of Cuba so that I could find out some places to hang. If any of you here can help me out with this one, I would be deeply thankful. I am looking for places to do some snorkeling as it is really one of my best things to do in events like this. I have heard that Jibacoa is a good place for snorkeling but the only thing is the sea temperature which is pretty much high on March!

In my opinion best place in Cuba is Cuba feature calm waters ........Its best .
