I don't particularly like the bullshit moralistic tone of this Spanish documentary (I'm guessing by accent they're Spanish, they sometimes lisp, like the Spaniards do on their s sounds)
and what's particularly infuriating is that as always they bring the underage aspect into it, thereby equating prositutition with pedophilia.

Its hard to avoid chulos in Cuba. As soon as a tourist is seen with a Cubana, everybody wants to get on the gravy train. It could be her first time with a tourist and they will all pump her head up to get money out of the tourist. Tourists are always expected to pay and they do pay.

I always managed to avoid them, and fascinatingly the one time I did grab a girl associated with them (I had no intention of hooking up with them, I merely took them up on an offer of a ride home, paid of course, but I'd rather pay them than a state taxi - turns out they had girls in the car)
