Pblee, I am sure I traumatized the kid by telling them that is not normal behavior. Had they been hetero I would have told my kid the same thing ...it's simply inappropriate behavior.

Oh Pblee. Those working in the shops in Beverly Hills aren't that smart to even determine if one is white or green.
The person I was with was a very wealthy Mexican and they refused to attend him. I didn't realize what had happened since I was at another store. Then again, this happened about 12 years ago. I am sure their standards have been lowered since now Lindsey Lohan and Kevin Federline can shop there.
So....................he was actually in the shop. If they didn't service Mexicans in Southern California, they'd lose about 80% of potential business. Not very wise business practice. It would be like refusing Cubans in Dade Country.
Well, I am talking about Beverly Hills, not LA. It's like the twilight zone out there. I was in a restaurant with him after the store incident. I went to the bathroom and an old lady came up to me and said, "What is a beautiful elegant girl like you doing with that disgusting Mexican"? She floored me. To this day I still don't know how she knew he was Mexican. Must have been the Spanish and the fact he was darker than me. Well heck, anyone is darker than me. I guess she had never seen a Cuban.
I was in my early 20's back then. If it would have been now, she would probably have another butt hole.
