I know this forum is for questions but I thought I'd let those who aren't fluent in Spanish know that I found a pretty good dictionary for my blackberry and it doesn't require a data connection. I paid $20 but that's what I would have paid for a book anyway and its far easier than having to flip through pages and pages to find a word. Cubans can wait hours in a lineup but they can't stand waiting for me to find a word in a dictionary! lol

I just put out an email to the developers to see if their talking phrase book can work offline as well.

It's also available for ipod and windows mobile devices.

Update - I got the talking phrase book and it also works offline. It's as good as Google translate but it will get you by...
