The Green Screen

Planning to go to Varadero this Xmas(09) and stay at Hotel Tropical which is downtown. I know they don't have any tennis courts there but does anyone know where else I could play tennis. Are there tennis clubs open to the public around that hotel or is it possible to go and play at another hotel where they do have courts.

The barlovento hotel up the street at calles 12 and 13 have a tenis court on the east side ;I have never seen anyone use it though ;
People dont go on holidays to play tennis ;more fun watching the ladies on the beach or around the pool :::
