NEW for the SUMMER - Rail Service to Cuba
Fantasia Ferries is pleased to announce that on July 1, one of our subsidiaries will be starting a new rail service, direct from Key West to the Mustang Ranch near Varadero. Not only will this be high speed rail travel, but you will clear Cuban immigration and customs from the comfort of your seat or cabin! Everything offered on the Ferry will also be available on the train. Looking forward to seeing you on board.

Rail service! Sign us up!

Have you guys been smoking canned salmon with GORD ???
Pepin, I told you the train idea was a bad one. Just wait until the first ferry gets lost in the fog and takes out the rail causway. We only need one mode of transportation to the land of milk and honey.
I know Sancho but people were getting sea sick on the Ferry. I thought the rail service was a good idea. I'm worried about the fog but the captains have assured me it's not a problem.
The train only takes 45 minutes to get to Havana vs the 5 hour boat ride.
Let me know if you want a VIP pass for the train.
Can we smoke weed on the train?
Mercy Wrote:Can we smoke weed on the train?
Not only can you smoke it but Herb is provided with the VIP pass. I'm talking good shit here not that dirt weed you smoke.
I'm affraid Sancho will have to excuse himself from partaking. After all...we have to respect or Law Enforcement Folks.

OH SHIT!!! That's worse yet. The Cuban government is going to be drilling oil wells all over the place in that area. If they hit the tunnel, it's all over.

I have recently read that you are promoting another June "Wedding Sailings Season".
As in the past, I will make myself available to perform the ceremonies as soon as I receive your schedule. Remember to charge a little "extra"

if the couple specifically asks that I be there.
Thank You

Hey Mercy... your son is getting married soon, right?

For those who are wondering, it's a little known fact that a group of Batista's former men taken prisoner after the revolution began tunnelling out of Havana's El Morro in 1959. They reached Miami in late 2005 when their tunnel struck a sewer that drains into the Florida Straits. Emerging from a manhole cover in 8th Street, one of them was heard to cry, "Coño, all that digging and we're back in 1950s Havana!"
Enterprising as ever, they quickly established a link with Fantasia Ferries Inc. and rails were laid through the tunnel within 9 months. A suitable amount of money was paid to some Cuban doctors to diagnose an inoperable condition in a certain Mr. Castro (but then they operated anyway), and with elements resistant to the scheme removed from the scene, construction on two new platforms at El Morro began in January this year. After final trials the first commercial service is due to start running on 1st July.
What no bridge from Havana to Miami?
Cuba is a fantastic country. Cubans are very hospitable people and Havana has to be one of the most vibrant cities in the world. It's a safe place to visit, too, unless of course you fall down one of the many potholes in the street. Cuba's rail network runs the length of the island, linking the main cities and towns. Cuban trains are an interesting way to get around, especially if you want to travel with Cubans the way Cubans do, and not in a tourist bus.
Don't expect western standards on the trains, take your own toilet paper, and allow for the odd breakdown - think of it as all part of the Cuba experience! In particular, the new 'Tren Francès' from Havana to Santiago is a safe, comfortable and now reasonably reliable way to make the trip from one end of Cuba to the other, much better than taking a cramped long-distance Viazul bus or worse, a flight.
