My father hit my mom once. My sister and I were in the back of a big buick (we were 12 & 8 respectively). My mother started on my father.
"Your brother.....blah, blah, blah....."
Then
"Your sister.....blah, blah, blah....."

(At this point he warned her about bad mouthing his sister)

"Your father.....blah, blah, blah....."

(Warning #2 at this point)

"Your mother.....blah, blah, blah....." (Grandma's been dead for 10 years at thispoint)

S-M-A-C-K! A right handed backhand (he was driving) right to the face.

She turns around to us and says" Did you see what your father did! He hit me!"
Stupidly, I saw "Well, he DID warn you twice to stop talking about his family"

Well, as big as that Buick was, my 4'11 mom somehow managed to reach to the backseta of that Buick and smack the crap out of me.

Ah....family life. Looking back, I realize mom was probably in the throws of "the change" (mid-40's) and nobody knew or recognized it back then. 35 years later, she still brings up the story how dad smacked her "for no good reason".

Take it for what it's worth.........

It goes to show smacking only works if you can hit some smaller or weaker than yourself.
she should have smoked a joint. then, the 40's wouldn't have been so bad.

does your dad still have all this teeth? :scream:

Women have a way of emasculating men with words.....far worse than losing your teeth. Now, if men only figured out how to 'e-bollo-late' women with words, it would be a fair fight!
