He says a couple of things I agree with. Time to get rid of the status quo although he wants to maintain some failed strategies. Maintaining a Cuban- American monopoly on Cuba travel is an utterly transparent attempt to maintain control and the antithesis of "freedom".
The democratic Cuba as an aid to regional democracy angle is silly- the region is largely democratic, Cuba is the notable exception - it is just that many of democratically elected people don't like the USA.
