Dade teen who ran away to Cuba is back home

A 14-year-old who last year ran away from home and managed to fly to Cuba where his mother lives has returned to Miami.

''Yes, he's back,'' his father, Alfredo Diaz, confirmed Monday. ``He arrived last night.''

Miami-Dade police said the teen, now 15, was briefly in state welfare custody. The boy, whose name is also Alfredo, was taken to his father's West Miami-Dade home Sunday night.

At first his father refused to accept him, but then changed his mind. ''I took him back,'' the senior Diaz said.

Last September, the teenager, at the time a 10th-grader at G. Holmes Braddock Senior High, took his father's credit card and managed to buy an American Airlines' ticket for a flight from Miami-to-Nassau, then on to Cuba where his mother lived.

He purchased a $157 ticket to Nassau, then one for $315 on to Cuba.

Even though he was only 14, he managed to get by airline personnel because he was born Dec. 8, 1991, and they only checked the year, not month, of his birth; they thought he was 15.

It's unclear how the teen made it back to Miami.
The kid probably went to Cuba to visit his mother for the summer and found himself to be a Casanova with the girls.

He still doesn't understand why they liked him though....
Yes I would agree with you Mercy.
Gusanos who return to visit are usually treated like celebrities.
Even if you are 14 years old. The chicas must have been lined up.
Similar to the line ups at the bodega.
Then I guess we aren't really gusanos. We have already transformed into the butterfly.
Sorry Mercy.
No offence intended. Those were Fidel's words - not mine.
No problem. You didn't use it in the offensive manner.

probably true Roberto and Mercy, but I give the kid credit for some of the best months any 14 year old anywhere ever had.

and he'll be none the worse off for it.

I wonder how he got back though

you know Mercy, boys and men are silly. We do not care WHY they like us, so long as we get the bollo. One of the things that happen as men get older is that they start caring even less LOL so perhaps the kid is simply mature beyond his tender years LOL
No he is just a silly boy who will grow up to be a silly man.

I wonder, would I have taken him back if I had the choice? I mean after beatting the s*&t out of him for doing this s*&t with MY CREDIT CARDS.

How many of the "fathers here" would have taken him back?

Aye Pepin. The kid was embollado. What do you expect at that age. I would of course take him back because he is my son but I would make him work to pay off the bill he incurred on my credit cards.

Actually, he should have left the kid in Cuba and not send any money. Let's see how long the kid would last when all the girls found out there was no more fula from daddy overseas.
No Fula = No Bollo

the kid will be very happy to repay whatever he has to repay when he finishes his schooling and enters the work force.

what do you think his "bill" was? I bet it wasn't much beyond his plane fare, which means it was MINIMAL.

or he can walk around the neighborhood and offer to cut grass, like we did when we were kids.

He'll be cutting the grass with a big do smile on his face too.

then when he gets older, he'll plan on putting himself in similar situations where there is culo rubbbing itself all over him.

I can assure, not for a nanosecond will he ask himself "why", at least not until after he has an orgasm. :fsmiley:
then he'll say to himself.. aha.. that's why...... and then he'll think.... let's do it again!

btw. my cubana gf asked me for $6 (once, to go use the Internet) , despite basically being with me for over a month. I suppose getting money from her Italian boyfriend had something to do with it. hahahahahahaahahhahaahhaahahhaa
then there was the Dominicana who was getting money from her German hahahahahahahaahahahahah. The key is to find someone else to pay the women you Fk. I was a bit annoyed at being forced by them to be secretive about it (so word wouldn't get back to their benefactors) but it was still well worth it Smile
This is funny......after my first trip to Cuba, I have since supported the idea that ALL kids should have to spend an impressionable summer between their 12-15th birthday in Cuba.

I'm certainly planning for my kids to do just that. Some might think it punishment.....but that's not it.....it's part of their education and coming of age and understanding of how important it is to take responsibility seriously.
