I personally think every child in the United States from the age of 12 to 16 should visit a third world country as part of their education.
My first visit was at 38 and it sure was an eye-popper!

I agree 100% Mercy. That's the only downside I can see from now having all the immediate family here with us. Now there is no real need to return to Cuba........and I had hoped to send the kids there for summer vacations when possible so that they see another side of life.

That is a wonderful story with beautiful pictures.
I brought our Little League Team to Havana back in March 2007.
Quite the life changing experience for many of us.
I'd like to see this happen more often.
