I really fail to see how.
Don't worry.... It's just Chicken Little screaming THE SKY IS FALLING, one more time.

Who really cares if it's 6.1% or 6.7% unemployment here in Ontario. There's still 93% of people spending money, living their lives, and making travel plans.

Hell, the high Canadian dollar has made my vacations in Cuba 25% CHEAPER than they were just 3 years ago. Can't argue with that.
Steve you are right I booked A.I. FOR SEPT for 235.00 plus taxes reflecting back years ago prices havent changed much; but choices for hotels and number of flights has changed dramaticly and food has improved quite a bit although they still could learn a lot on presentation and quality ;
Bell Canada - 2500 jobs gone - all over $ 100,000 - All Auto workers ?????? Ontario is a mess !!!
Those big planes for fuel $ 45 / hr. per seat !!!
Gordo . . . . .

The job losses in Ontario are bad news but the link to the issue in your OP - fed gov deficit - is um . . . pretty thin. The job losses are more related to the US economy and fuel prices not the Tories foolish budgeting.

If you are going to start out pointing how nonsensical your posts are it would save many of us the trouble .

Quiennosabe

The state's Republican governor said the action was necessary given California's failure to enact a budget for the current fiscal year, which began on July 1.

The state faces a massive $15.2 billion deficit and Democratic and Republican lawmakers have so far been unable to agree on a spending plan.

WRONG AGAIN GORDON!!!!! Canada's Oil and Gas exports to the USA were $49 Billion dollars while the forestry industry exported only $35 Billion dollars worth of goods.
