Who really cares if it's 6.1% or 6.7% unemployment here in Ontario. There's still 93% of people spending money, living their lives, and making travel plans.
Hell, the high Canadian dollar has made my vacations in Cuba 25% CHEAPER than they were just 3 years ago. Can't argue with that.

Steve you are right I booked A.I. FOR SEPT for 235.00 plus taxes reflecting back years ago prices havent changed much; but choices for hotels and number of flights has changed dramaticly and food has improved quite a bit although they still could learn a lot on presentation and quality ;

The job losses in Ontario are bad news but the link to the issue in your OP - fed gov deficit - is um . . . pretty thin. The job losses are more related to the US economy and fuel prices not the Tories foolish budgeting.

The loss in auto jobs only comes as a result of being a parasite to the US automotive industry. You have to take the good with the bad........

WRONG AGAIN GORDON!!!!! Canada's Oil and Gas exports to the USA were $49 Billion dollars while the forestry industry exported only $35 Billion dollars worth of goods.
