(BECAUSE NOTHING WE HAVE DONE SO FAR IN 13 YEARS HAS WORKED AT ALL, MOSTLY BECAUSE NOBODY CARES, IT IS OUR GENIUS IDEA TO TRY AGAIN, AND ALSO WE GET BROWNIE POINTS FROM THE CUBAN GOVERNMENT THAT HAS ASKED US TO BE REALLY CREATIVE IN OUR CAMPAIGN TO FREE THE FIVE)
On January 5, from any place where you are, send an e-mail, a fax or make a phone call to President Obama to demand that he immediately free Gerardo, Ramón, Antonio and Fernando and that he allows René to return to Cuba to his wife and daughters.
( I DEMAND THAT OBAMA DO WHAT I TELL HIM TO DO, A GOOD WAY TO MAKE FRIENDS AND INFLUENCE THE POLITICAL SYSTEM. AND THE FACT THAT WE DON'T KNOW HOW TO TYPE AN ACCENTED LETTER SHOWS THAT WE ARE PART OF A POPULAR MOVEMENT).
President Obama knows the Five are Innocent. (HE KNOWS BECAUSE WE KNOW AND THEREFORE HE MUST KNOW, AND IF HE DOESN'T CONFORM TO OUR DEMANDS IT IS BECAUSE HE IS A TOOL OF THE FASCIST 1%) He has heard that from intellectuals, religious people, union leaders, students, actors and artists, parliamentarians, Nobel Prize recipients and thousands of honest people from all over the world (AND THESE ARTISTS AND INTELLECTUALS ARE CERTAINLY MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE CONSTITUTIONALLY CREATED LEGAL SYSTEM THAT HE HAS SWORN TO UPHOLD.) He can and he should put an end to these 13 years of injustice. Only by doing that will he gain the respect of the international community that is waiting for a humanitarian gesture on his part that will allow the immediate return of the Five to Cuba, to their families and their people.
