Good to see ya' AK!!
I could go along with preference for religion kept out of government, but not discrimination against the religious who want to be public servants.

Very true Redneck.
Just because a person has a belief in a religion, does not disqualify them from being good leaders.
But, keep your religion at home.

Define the word "leader". Jim Jones comes to mind. He led a bunch of dumb asses to some real shitty Cool-Aid.
One of the greates thing about our contry is the specific separation from the Church. I like Romney because he's super rich wich mean he wont steal "that much" and the fact he has been a succesful business man.
McCain scares me a little.

that all religion is man made. All religions have their idiocies, but Mormonism is up there with Scientology in being beyond ridiculous.

Islam, Catholacism, and Santaria all have their "true believers" (read crazies). I think it just depends on the person and how wacked out they are. Susan might be a good example and Osama would be another.
Anyone who wants to impose their religious view on others should be disqualified from office. Huckleberry and Bush come to mind.
