That's just a rumor (or is it rumour). The REAL currency will be the Amero which will replace the USD, CAD and Mexican Peso.

Never happen in Canada Sancho. Somebody is blowing smoke up your ass down there. Ask any Canadian and you will get the same three words. " Fuck THAT Idea!"

Ya got that right Rainbow. With the mortgage meltdown in the USA, and the recession/depression they're headed into, pretty soon it will be the Canadian Dollar, but the American Peso and Mexican Peso. They'll both be worth nothing!

The mortgage meltdown and possible recession will be your problem too. Have you been following the NAFTA Superhighway (officially called the International Mid-Continent Trade and Transportation Corridor) and North American Union (Security and Prosperity Partnership) issues?
We're all going to be one big happy family under the New World Order. I guess I'm going to have to learn to put that "u" in all the words ending in "or" and start saying "eh".
You will need to brush up on your spanish and develop a liking for mariachi music too.

That's right Canada is always about 6 months behind the US.

There is also a housing meltdown in Australia. Must be Bush's fault.

I've been hearing this stuff for nearly 30 years and still "doomsday" never happens. We might get hit with a couple of years of hard times, but we'll get through it. The US economy has some bad imbalances, we'll bite the bullet and fix it. We have some problems in the US, we just need to fix them one by one, it'll all work out. One of the things that needs to be fixed is illegal immigration, as long as we don't grant amnesty, only let people in that can demonstrate they will generate jobs and rediscover the meaning of the word "deport", even that can be fixed. Cubans need to be given the same status as Mexicans since the CAs are proving hostile to the English only movement.

So wage preservation is racist? Yeah right! What is your slogan? "Support diversity, work for minimum wage"?

If your job can be taken over by a third grade educated guy that leaves his whole family, goes thousands of miles, maybe you should have taken advantage of all the opportunities this country gives and studied harder. That way you wouldn't be so threatened

That shows how little you know about immigration. Pay degradation has a way of climbing up the whole wage/salary scale. Those working at minimum wage will start demanding social services and eventually start voting. Then comes the outrage over "wealth distribution". Of course there's never a discussion about how not learning English freezes people at a minimum wage or below lifestyle.
How does one explain the marked difference between the US standard of living and most of the rest of the world? There is something about the US culture that causes this difference. My guess that something is the American inclination (obsession maybe) to not let go of a problem until it's fixed. There's also the mentality of good is never good enough. If we lose these things, the US just becomes another third world country.

You could be right Redneck, but I know lpeople who speak English and make minimum wage.
Then again, I know people who DON'T speak English and are rich.
Now, THAT's the American Way!

Maybe you should look at a few statistics etc., to see just how the USA ranks against other countries. Then perhaps you'd have a more enlightened viewpoint.
